why xilari exists

Xilari is more than a beauty brand—it’s the story of self-expression, love, and empowerment through beauty. my journey with lip gloss began in middle school, where I had to wear a uniform every day. while I couldn’t change my outfit, lip gloss became my way to add a personal touch. it was the one small thing that made me feel unique, confident, and a little more “me.”

as a little girl, I also loved watching my mom and nana get dressed up for events or parties. whether it was a swipe of lipstick or a dab of gloss, those moments weren’t just about beauty—they were rituals of care, strength, and elegance. seeing them glow, inside and out, inspired me to dream of a world where every person could feel the same.

growing up, though, I realized the beauty industry didn’t always celebrate everyone. finding nudes that worked for brown skin tones or a gloss (on a high school student budget) that didn’t leave me with a white residue often felt impossible. that’s why I created Xilari—to offer premium beauty that’s inclusive, handcrafted, and thoughtfully designed to celebrate every complexion. from dreamy nudes that love every skin tone to playful, girly perfection, Xilari is here to bring beauty made for you.
